But my point is that the only way we get to know these fictional characters is through their stories. We don't see them in the same way we see people in our everyday lives, where we evaluate personalities and get to know people through the places they like to go out to dinner, their favorite teams, what types of movies they like, whether we think they're funny, whether they'd rather work out by doing yoga or running or both, etc. This is an ensemble show with limited time to devote to every character (except, unfortunately, Sami, who apparently has unlimited show time). If we got to "see" Will develop a personality the same way we do people in real life, people would be throwing things at the screen because it wouldn't be a good use of TV time. And, Will is still very young. He's had no opportunity to develop much of a personality prior to this year. The same was true of Sami when she witnessed J & M--she was young and callow and undeveloped. NOW we know what a bitch she is, but that developed over the years as we saw her stupidity and insecurity and endless poor decision-making shape her as a character. And that was through her stories. I just don't see how else, on a TV show, you're going to show what a character is like unless they're in stories and I don't see how you develop their personalities in any meaningful or interesting way without making them part of stories people are interested in. |

You know what would be great? Even if we can't get Ejill -- a true, hot master/slave relationship where EJ just uses Will for sex; it happens in real life, believe me I know! -- at LEAST we can get EJ tempting Will -- never intending to sleep with him, but just to bind him to EJ more and more -- by inviting him to chat in tHE SAUNA with EJ, and you don't have to have a fantasy sequence, but having Will OGLE EJ in the sauna while chatting with him would totally clue viewers in about why he's conflicted. And it would deliciously play along with EJ's cat/mouse game. |

Thanks for posting this. Fans should be up in arms, sending THEIR paychecks to MarDar, in defiance of the fact that Sami gets two paychcks and the show refuses to acknowledge it. Sami is double dipping. She doesn't have money problems. The kids have more than enough money for clothes on their backs. This omission (and really, rewrite of facts) is sick. With that sad, the CW story is going to blow up in Sami's face. Gabi and Chad are HOT. There's no way they're not going to push CW to new heights. Madison's decline for Victor's offer will blow up in her face. Mad World will fold because of these factors. Whoaaaaa, dangerous territory. Austin's discussing his marriage with a student. This is a slippery slope. Very bad move, Austin. I don't care if it's Abby you're talking to. (No, her name is NOT Abigail. That's Jack's name for her.) You can't divulge information about the marriage. "I love spending time with you" ... dang... Abby must be eating this up, heh, heh, heh... :chee: Glad to see the show invested in a real photo shoot. I really thought they'd have digital cameras and set it in the spa. |
